BIOGRAPHY

Tina Vero is an award winning singer-songwriter and performer from the Greater New York area.  Ready Let Go, produced by Grammy nominated producer and songwriter Dustin Burnett, (Zayde Wolf, Tyrone Wells, Royal Tailor), is her latest release. It is a collection of 11-songs that reflect a journey of liberation, self-realization, heartbreak, and risk-taking built from musical influences such as Neil Finn, Imogen Heap, Suzanne Vega, and Jonatha Brooke. Vero deftly marries the genre of strong, smart singer/songwriter to ambient alt-pop. The title track  "Ready Let Go" has qualified for the semi-finals of 2021's Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition in the AAA (Adult Alternative Album) category.  “Memory For Me” has qualified for the semi-finals of 2022’s Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition in the AAA (Adult Alternative Album) category.

She is currently recording new  music in Williamsburg, Brooklyn under the production team of Simon Kafka (Coyle Girelli, Elle King, Duncan Sheik) and Grammy nominated Lorenzo Wolff (Taylor Swift, Randy Newman, Kristine Kruta).

Previously, she released her first album, In The Waiting. Upon the release of In The Waiting, she leveraged her career by sharing the stage with Neil Finn during his One All tour at Irving Plaza in New York City and Electric Factory in Philadelphia.  Their duets brought new interest to the likes Rita Houston of 90.7 WFUV and Jon Pareles of The New York Times commenting on Tina Vero’s dynamic songwriting, performing, and complex guitar abilities.  Tina Vero followed up In The Waiting with a 4 song EP entitled Tina Vero, produced by Mike Visceglia (Suzanne Vega, Dar Williams, John Cale). Her songs “Nowhere” and “Angelchasing” from the EP won awards from IAMA and UNISONG songwriting competitions respectively.  Upon winning an award from  IAMA for “Nowhere,” she became IAMA’s featured artist of the month.

A quote from the panelists at IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards):
“Tina simply delivers excellent vocals and artistry.  Her sound is fresh and just keeps the listener wanting more. Her songwriting displays excellent hooks without overdoing it.  Her song fits her vocals like a glove. Even Lisa Loeb will be jealous.”
